Our engine driven model is the ultimate way to turn your motoring or engine-charging time into high-volume fresh water. By converting mechanical energy directly, this system achieves exceptional efficiency, delivering large quantities of pure water quickly without drawing heavily on your electrical banks.

Key Advantages
  • Mechanical Clutch Drive: The high-flow, high-pressure pump mounts directly to your main engine or auxiliary generator. It operates via an electric clutch driven by a standard single "A" section belt.
  • Scalable Output: Built on our high-volume pump platform, this system can easily expand production from 80 to 240 litres per hour by simply adding extra membranes as your crew's needs grow.
  • Modular Layout: The split-component design gives you full flexibility to mount the pump on the engine block while tucking the filters, controls, and membranes into unused spaces elsewhere.

Optional Upgrades:
  • Expansion Membranes: Add-on kits to scale your production up to 160 L/h (2 membranes) or 240 L/h (3 membranes).
  • High-Output Membrane: Our short-format 115 L/h carbon fibre vessel—ideal for high flow in cramped engine rooms.
  • Sliding Base Plate: Engineered for smooth, horizontal belt tensioning.
  • Pivot Bracket: Designed for easy, vertical belt tensioning adjustments.
  • Automatic Flush System: Automatically cycles a 2-minute flush every 7 days to protect the system while you are away from the vessel.
  • Extra 20-Micron Pre-Filter: Added protection for muddy rivers or silt-heavy coastal anchorages.

Engine Drive Sliding Base Plate

​The challenge with installing an engine drive system is mounting the high pressure pump as a power take-off on the engine or generator.  Every boat engine will have its own possibilities for mounting a power take-off.  Our sliding base plate may help your high pressure pump installation become a little bit easier.  CNC cut from 8mm aluminium, mild steel, or stainless steel, our base plate offers 50mm of sliding belt adjustment.  Perfect for horizontal belt tensioning

Engine Drive Pivot Bracket

​When the pump is fitted above or below the engine, a bracket that pivots, like an alternator bracket, is a good option.  CNC cut from 8mm mild steel or stainless steel, then tig welded.  The pivot pin and tensioning bolt are 10mm stainless steel.

Custom mount over engine with special attention to good fuel system access. Pivot bracket allows for easy belt tensioning.

Engine Drive on Yanmar installed on Seawind Catamaran
This straight-forward installation uses one of our pivot brackets for belt tensioning. A pair of hardwood battens are epoxied to the hull. An aluminium plate is fixed to the battens. Anti-vibration mounts connect the pivot bracket to the alloy plate.
This successful installation makes use of a 'hard mount' bracket. That is, the pump bracket is attached to the boat structure, rather than fixed to the engine.
